Ethnic Pride Boosts Adolescent Happiness

Monday, Oct. 23 (Psych Central) -- Maintenance of self-esteem and a positive attitude is difficult when faced with life’s hardships. Undoubtedly, the task is challenging for adolescents as they undergo biological and mental transformations. New research finds ethnic pride can help teenagers maintain happiness when faced with stress. Adolescents with positive feelings toward their ethnic group say they are happier on a daily basis than those who have a more negative attitude about their ethnic identity, said Lisa Kiang, assistant professor of psychology at Wake Forest and lead author of the study.
The study, involving 415 ninth-graders from Chinese and Mexican backgrounds, shows the protective effects of ethnic identity on daily psychological well-being, Kiang said. Read more...

Людям, задавшим вопросы Сержу Саркисяну (![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) serzhsargsyan) начали приходить провокационные ответы от виртуала, аккаунт которого отличается на две буквы. Подобные ответы получили уже Hayk и Moonleight (upd. та же история произошла и с hreg). hayk также сообщает, что создан и клон uzogh, в котором вместо буквы ‘g’ использована буква ‘q’
Напомню, что на вопросы будут отвечать начиная с 13-го марта (четверга), и что все ответы будут приходить не по привату, а будут публиковаться в журнале.
Пожалуйста, распротраните эту информацию, чтобы пресечь действия провокаторов.

Please be aware that fake responses are being sent to those who have sent questions to Serge Sargsyan (serzhsargsyan). They are sent from a clone account which differs in two letters from the original.
Users Hayk and Moonleight have already received such «answers» in response to their questions. Hayk notifies that a clone user of uzogh has also been created. In this case substitution of “g” for “q” was used.
Please be aware that these are malicious provocations. serzhsargsyan's responses will be posted in his blog for public view starting from March 13th. No private messages will be sent to users.
Please disseminate this information to prevent provocative actions. |

Некоторые комментарии в предыдущем трэде наводят на мысль, что «провокатор», который посылал ответы от имени Сержа Саркисяна, в реальности — бот, с набором текстовых заготовок. |
